VISION

"RAISE UP A GENERATION OF LEADERS FOR GOD WHO WILL WIN THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH"

THE WHEEL OF VISION

Vision is the primary force that keeps the congregation moving forward. Therefore, one must always be vigilant and ensure that one is not distracted from it—that is, that one does not engage in activities that are not connected to the driving force behind the vision God has given us.

Winning is the spoke that sets the wheel in motion and is the first step that activates and introduces the disciple to the work of the vision. This is based on Mark 16:15 where Jesus gives his disciples the Missionary Commission to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Winning is about preaching to people about Jesus, sharing your testimony with someone, and drawing them closer to God.

The services are the eighth ray of the vision and constitute a very important part of it, since it is the day when everyone gathers—new and old, young and old—to give glory and praise to God, but also to receive a Word that will give direction to the congregation. We want to strive to create an atmosphere of honor and excellence in all areas of service, but above all, we want an atmosphere filled with the presence and glory of God, where He can manifest His wonders and miracles.

Reencounter is a camp that fulfills an important function in the vision cycle, as its purpose is for people to receive revelation about the vision and thus be activated in their calling. If the Encounter is an encounter with Jesus, Reencounter is an encounter with the heart of the Father, with His longing and His will for us here on earth.

Cell groups are the third spoke of the vision wheel and are the most appropriate place to bring the new person to whom you have preached, since the cell group provides fellowship, family warmth, advice and support for the first-time visitor and for the churchgoer.

Discipleship is the sixth element, a weekly meeting for pastors and church leaders. Its purpose is to keep all cell group leaders and disciples focused on the vision through prayer, a Word of God that is always directed toward advancing the vision, and practical planning to ensure that all aspects of the vision are active and vibrant throughout the week.

The encounter is the fourth ray of vision and is key to this process, as people need to have a personal encounter with Jesus. An encounter with Jesus heals physical and mental illnesses, frees us from spiritual bondage and curses, fills us with the Holy Spirit, and also gives us purpose and meaning in life. Here, we want each person to realize that they have a divine calling: to help others.

The Kingdom School is the fifth spoke of the vision wheel and is often referred to as its backbone. Here, each person receives a foundation in God's Word, in life with God, in their calling, and in service. Here you will also gain a deeper understanding of the congregation's vision, and later in the process, you will learn how you yourself can become a cell group leader within the congregation.
